Hey everybody! So first off I’d just like to clarify that my name isn’t Elsie Penworthy, I just have an unhealthy obsession with Princess Diaries for somebody of my age… I’m starting a blog for my high school journalism class, so many of these posts will relate to journalism topics, but I’ll be adding stuff of my own as well.
I guess I’ll start with a little bit about myself. My name is Laretta Johnson and I’m 15 years old and a sophomore in high school. My favorite subjects are history and French and I run on the cross country team. I love to spend time with my friends and very large family. I have 2 sisters and about a million aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family parties are always exciting! Aside from school I like to skateboard, snowboard, read, and travel when I can.I live in Chico, CA and I can’t wait to get away from this slightly boring town! Some of my goals include studying abroad for a year in France and attending NYU after high school.
I think thats about it for now, although you should probably also know that I LOVE Harry Potter, Psych, and The Office!
